Emma Dearden Actress, Singer, Model, Dancer

 

Emma's love for the stage began at a young age. At nine years old she joined the Hurstpierpoint based Shine Theatre Group. With Shine, Emma performed at various venues including the Dome and the Corn Exchange in Brighton, the Houses of Parliament and for the 'Children in Need' charity concert at The Grande Hotel.

Emma was also a member of West Sussex Youth County Theatre where she played the lead role in Bob Tomson's new musical 'Picnic At Hanging Rock' at The Chichester Festival Theatre.

Between 2006 and 2008 Emma was involved with Brighton Theatre Group and has performed in many productions with them. Her most noteable credit was Nancy in 'Oliver!' in 2008 at The Theatre Royal, Brighton.

Emma studied Performing Arts at South Downs College in Lewes and went on to train at The London School of Musical Theatre. During this time Emma's theatre credits include Grizabella in 'Cats' at the South Downs Performing Arts Studios, Miranda in Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' at The Corn Exchange, Brighton, 'Hope' at the Bridewell Theatre, London, Alice in 'Alice In Wonderland', Johanna in 'Sweeney Todd' and Sorrel in 'Damsels In Distress'.
